David Medina Cruz, PhD

David Medina Cruz, PhD, has extensive work experience in the biotechnology industry. David currently works as a Scientist II at Alltrna. Prior to this, they served as a Startup Independent Consultant and worked with multiple companies, including SynCell Biotechnology, Novaurum Biosciences, and Nanolyx Inc., where they held roles as a Co-founder and Scientific Advisory Board member. In addition, David has been involved as a Mentor in various programs, including Solve - MIT and Nucleate, where they provide guidance and support to biotech startup teams. David has also served as the Chief Financial Officer and National Treasurer of Españoles Científicos en USA (ECUSA), a non-profit organization that promotes the role of science in society and supports Spanish science professionals in the USA. Moreover, David has contributed as a Topic Board Editor for MDPI and worked as a Scientist at Centaura, where they focused on studying aging-related processes and developing targeted therapies.
