Daniel L. has a diverse work experience across multiple companies and roles.

Daniel started their career as a Technical Analyst Intern at Zheshang Fund Management Co., Ltd., where they implemented price liquidity regression models and presented financial models to potential users.

Daniel then worked as a Researcher at HKUST Materials Lab, where they implemented models for antenna design and designed an antenna for wireless phone charging.

Daniel also worked as a Researcher at Duke +DS Program, where they implemented machine learning algorithms to identify lesions from radiology scans and developed deep-learning techniques.

Daniel later joined Praetorian as a Security Engineer, specializing in penetration testing for web and mobile applications. Daniel also worked on AWS security engagements, DevSecOps, IOT, and corporate security projects. Daniel played a key role in client communications, handled scoping/kickoff calls, provided status updates, presented vulnerabilities, and made remediation suggestions.

Currently, Daniel is working at Alludo as a Senior Security Engineer.

Daniel L. completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Duke University, where they attended from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, they attended the Chinese International School from 2009 to 2016. Daniel also obtained several additional certifications, including Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) from Offensive Security in January 2023, Offensive Security Web Expert (OSWE) from Offensive Security in December 2022, Burp Suite Certified Practitioner from PortSwigger in August 2022, and AWS Certified Solutions Architect from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2021.
