Casey Schreiner has a diverse work experience. From 2006 to 2007, they worked as a Minority Recruitment Representative at Montana State University. Casey then became a Science Educator at Butte Central Catholic Schools from 2008 to 2010 and later at Great Falls Public Schools from 2010 to 2013. In 2014, Schreiner became the Director of the Montana State Workforce Innovation Board, where they managed the board and provided oversight and policy advice for workforce development. From 2018 to 2019, they served as the Work-based Learning Director for the Department of Labor and Industry, where they directed and implemented initiatives for Montana's Work-Based Learning Program. In 2013, Schreiner began their political career, first as a State Representative and then as House Minority Leader from 2019 to 2021. Casey also ran for the positions of Lt. Governor and Governor of Montana in 2020. Currently, Schreiner is the Chief Strategic Officer at Alluvion Health since 2021.

Casey Schreiner obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Cell Biology and Neuroscience from Montana State University-Bozeman in 2005. Continuing their education, Casey also earned a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Montana State University-Bozeman, completing the program in 2010.
