Amber Gunthorp

Process Improvement Project Manager at Alluvionic Inc.

Amber Gunthorp has worked in various positions since 2016. Amber started as a research assistant for the Mind and Identity in Context Lab at Indiana University Bloomington, where they collected, analyzed, and coded data from social psychology experiments and created literature reviews for research projects. Amber then worked as a program and financial assistant for Research and Development there until 2018.

Next, Amber was a guest English teacher in Korea for CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange in 2018-2019, where they provided conversational English education classes for 500+ students and designed differentiated curriculum plans.

In 2020, they became a project manager for Epic and oversaw the implementation of an electronic medical record system for outpatient pharmacy customers.

In 2021, Amber worked for Peoplelink Group and was selected to a newly-formed project management role tasked with leading process development and establishing the company's first PMO structure. Amber then became a Jr HR Project Coordinator and onboarded new staff and prioritized COVID policy communications.

Currently, Amber works for Alluvionic Inc. as a Process Improvement Project Manager starting from October 2022.

Amber Gunthorp attended Indiana University Bloomington from 2014 to 2018, where they received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Public Affairs, Nonprofit Management. After completing their undergraduate studies, they obtained a TEFL certificate from the CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange in May 2018. In March 2022, they became a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from the Project Management Institute, and in September 2022, they earned their Project Management Certified certification from Smartsheet. Additionally, in April 2023, they obtained Core Product Certified certification from Smartsheet.
