Justin Baker, GPEN, GCIH, GSEC, has a strong background in security engineering and vulnerability management. Justin currently works as a Security Engineer at Allvue Systems, where they own and manages a vulnerability management program in a hybrid, multi-cloud environment. Justin also provides senior-level support and serves as a subject matter expert in vulnerability management. Prior to Allvue Systems, they served as an Advisory Board Member at MedLeaf, where they advised the board on security best practices and technology initiatives. Justin began their career in the US Army as an Intelligence Operations Manager, where they managed user accounts and enforced information security guidelines. Justin also has experience outside the security field, having worked as a Game Test Analyst at Nelson Staffing and as the President of FinaSol, Inc., where they led the company to substantial profit during the economic downturn.

Justin Baker has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Cybersecurity from Excelsior University, which they obtained from 2016 to 2021. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2013, they attended the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center and earned an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Korean Studies. In terms of certifications, Justin holds the GIAC Penetration Tester (GPEN) certification obtained in April 2018, the GIAC Certified Incident Handler certification obtained in March 2018, and the GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) obtained in January 2018. Additionally, they have received military and strategic leadership training from the United States Army Schools & Centers.
