Lana Riva

Lana Riva has a diverse work experience, starting in 2006 with Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP, where they worked as a Senior Associate until 2011. Lana then joined S&P Capital IQ as a Data Manager for a brief period before moving to Black Mountain Systems. At Black Mountain Systems, Lana held multiple roles, including Senior Implementation Specialist from 2012 to 2014, Product Solutions Engineer from 2015 to 2016, and finally, as a Product Architect from 2017 to 2020. Their most recent position was with Allvue Systems, where they worked as a Product Owner from 2020 to 2021 and subsequently as a Software Architect starting in 2022.

Lana Riva has a diverse educational background with a strong focus on data science and business. Lana obtained their Bachelor's degree in Finance and Management Information Systems from the Alfred Lerner College of Business & Economics at the University of Delaware, where they studied from 2002 to 2006. Following this, Lana pursued further education in the field of data science by completing an Introduction to Data Science program at General Assembly from 2014 to 2015, where they gained expertise in Python, Machine Learning, and Data Visualization. Lana then advanced their knowledge by obtaining a Master's degree in Data Science from the UC Berkeley School of Information, where they studied from 2016 to 2018.
