Caleb Raff

Head of Growing Operations at Allwell Greens

Caleb Raff has a diverse work experience. In 2019, they became the Head of Growing Operations at Allwell Greens and a Farm Manager at the Institute of Culinary Education. Caleb also took on a freelance hydroponicist and consultant role in 2019. In the same year, they were the Interim Farm Manager/ Instructor at Teens for Food Justice, where they managed daily operations in the hydroponic farm at Dewitt Clinton High School.

From 2017 to 2019, Caleb worked at Farm.One, where they were a Plant Scientist, Shift Manager, and Farm Hand. In this role, they managed R&D for hundreds of different crops, developed new techniques for several crop types, and handled daily operations such as harvesting, planting, and cleaning.

Caleb also worked at Farmers Restaurant Group from 2016 to 2017, where they were a Server/ Closing Server. In this role, they delegated assignments to other servers and ranked number one for sales for two consecutive quarters.

From 2016 to 2019, Caleb was also involved with the Alpha Delta Phi Society Graduate Organization, Capital Chapter. Caleb held the roles of Secretary and President, where they were tasked with heading the organization, organizing members, and running quarterly meetings. Caleb was also responsible for the incorporation of the organization as a nonprofit in the District of Columbia and oversaw a successful application for a charter as part of the Alpha Delta Phi Society National.

Caleb Raff attended The George Washington University from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature, Classical Studies, and History, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature/Letters.
