Alan Swanson

Alan Swanson is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in strategic planning and financial management. Currently serving as Vice President of Strategic Planning at Allworth Financial since July 2022, Alan previously held key leadership roles at Yext, Blucora, Cantor Fitzgerald, and Bear Stearns. At Yext, Alan managed 25 finance professionals while overseeing the integration of five shared services teams to enhance operational efficiency. During tenure at Blucora, Alan played a significant role in financial planning and reporting as Interim CFO of HD Vest. Alan's career also includes considerable leadership experience at Cantor Fitzgerald, where oversight of FP&A functions was provided across global teams. In addition to a strong background in finance, Alan holds an MBA in Business Administration and Management and a BA in International Affairs from Florida State University.
