Emily Paulson

Emily Paulson has a diverse work experience in the field of graphic design and outdoor education. Their most recent position was as a Graphic Designer II at Allytics. Emily previously worked at Press Pros Printing Company as a Graphic Designer and at ARTCRANK as an Artist. Emily also has experience as a Graphic Designer at the SLCC Office of Diversity and Multicultural Affairs and as a Designer at Cactus and Tropicals. In addition, they have worked as an Adaptive Instructor at Wasatch Adaptive Sports and as a Program Coordinator and Lead Counselor at Outdoors for All Foundation. Emily's earlier work experience includes being a Naturalist at San Joaquin Outdoor Education and holding various roles at Cal Poly Triathlon, including Heart and Soles Race Director and Volunteer Coordinator.

Emily Paulson attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2009 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor's of Science degree in Education. In 2019, they enrolled at Salt Lake Community College and completed their studies in 2021, earning an Associate of Applied Sciences degree in Visual Art and Design with a focus on Graphic Design.

In addition to their formal education, Emily Paulson has obtained two certifications. Emily received an AIARE - Level 1 certification from the American Institute for Avalanche Research and Education (AIARE) in January 2023. Emily also obtained a Wilderness First Responder certification from the NOLS Wilderness Medicine Institute (WMI), although the specific month and year of this certification were not provided.
