Emily (Attwood) Payne has a diverse work experience in the field of publishing and content management. Emily began their career in 2010 as a Managing Editor at RB Publishing and PFP-Personal Fitness Professional. Emily then moved on to become an Associate Editor at Athletic Business in 2011, eventually becoming the Managing Editor from 2014 to 2015. In 2017, Emily joined ALM as the Managing Editor for BenefitsPRO, where they oversaw content planning and publication. Emily later became the Deputy Editor and is currently serving as the Director of Content Analytics in the Business & Finance Division.

Emily Attwood Payne earned a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in English, with an emphasis on Creative Writing, from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the years 2005 to 2008. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate in Business during their time at the university.
