Cassie Tennant

Cassie Tennant is a finance professional with extensive experience in higher education and public accounting. Currently serving as Controller at Alma College since August 2007, Cassie oversees all accounting functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and various financial reporting tasks while assisting in budget preparation. Prior to this, Cassie worked as a Staff Accountant at Weinlander Fitzhugh CPAs, where responsibilities included managing multiple clients, auditing government and nonprofit organizations, and preparing tax returns. Cassie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Business/Management from Alma College, earned in 2003.
