Phillip Andre

Director Of Student Success; Lecturer Of Integrative Physiology And Health Science at Alma College

Phillip Andre has a diverse range of work experience in the field of athletic training and student support. Phillip has held various roles at Alma College, starting in 2007 as a Director of Clinical Instruction and Assistant Athletic Trainer, and eventually becoming the Program Director for the Athletic Training Major. Phillip then moved on to become an Instructor of Integrative Physiology and Health Science and later took on the role of Assistant Director of Academic Support. In 2020, they became a Lecturer of Integrative Physiology and Health Science and is currently serving as the Director of Student Success. Prior to their time at Alma College, Phillip worked as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Olivet College and a Certified Athletic Trainer at Ingham Sports Medicine. Phillip also gained experience as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Michigan State University and as an Athletic Training Intern with the New York Mets in 2002.

Phillip Andre holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Educational Leadership from Central Michigan University, which they obtained from 2014 to 2019. Prior to that, they received a Master's degree (MS) in Kinesiology- Athletic Training from Michigan State University, attending from 2002 to 2004. Phillip completed their undergraduate studies at Penn State University from 1997 to 2001, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Kinesiology- Athletic Training.
