Michael Vanderham

Michael Vanderham has a diverse range of work experience, starting in 2012 as a Bartender at Fluid Events. Michael then worked as a Dialysis Water Filtration Service Technician and Assistant Manager at Performance Water Systems LLC from 2014 to 2015. Following this, they served as a Service Technician and Salesperson at BATES WATER SOLUTIONS from 2015 to 2016.

In 2017, Vanderham transitioned to the technology recruitment field, first as a Contract Recruiter at SNI Companies and then as a Business Development Manager at SNI Technology.

In 2018, Vanderham joined Anritsu Infivis Inc. as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator on a contract and later became a Human Resources Generalist. Michael fulfilled responsibilities such as screening applicants, conducting interviews and orientations, and assisting with benefits and training administration.

In 2021, Vanderham moved to Familia Dental, where they worked as a Human Resources Generalist, providing guidance on HR policies and compliance, offering employee relations advice and training, and contributing to initiatives to improve the workplace culture.

Currently, Vanderham works at Alma Lasers North America as a Talent Acquisition Specialist. Michael'sresponsibilities include developing hiring strategies, implementing sourcing strategies, coordinating with hiring managers, conducting candidate assessments, and organizing recruitment events.

Michael Vanderham completed their high school education at St. Rita of Cascia High School from 2005 to 2009, obtaining a High School Diploma. Michael then attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2011 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Sociology. In addition to their formal education, Michael has obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include the Associate Professional in Human Resources (aPHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in April 2019, the Rightskill-Essentials of Recruiting for the Staffing Industry certification from Capella Learning Solutions in January 2017, the Ameriwater Dialysis Water Treatment Certification from AmeriWater in May 2014, the Heartsaver First aid CPR AED certification from the American Heart Association in March 2019, and the Dangerous Goods Training and Lithium Batteries certification from Transpertation Compliance Associates inc. in December 2018.
