Shater Abdurahman

Shater Abdurahman has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of information technology. SHATER currently holds the position of Director of Information Technology at Almana Hospitals, starting in November 2020. Prior to this role, they served as the General Manager of Information Technology at Al Jabr Holding from November 2011 to September 2018.

Before their tenure at Al Jabr Holding, Abdurahman worked as an I.T. Manager at Kia Aljabr from November 2009 to October 2011. In this role, they reported to the Vice President, analyzed and implemented new solutions, managed network and infrastructure implementation, and administered the ERP system of the business.

Their career also includes positions at Al Jabr Trading Company as a Software Application Manager from May 2003 to October 2009, at Nissan - Aljabr as a Developer / Network Administrator from March 1999 to April 2003, and at Specialized Computer as a Development Programmer from March 1996 to January 1999.

Shater Abdurahman attended AMA University from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained a degree in Computer Science. They have also obtained various certifications, including "Develop Your Skills as a Software Project Manager" and "What Is Generative AI?" from LinkedIn in 2023, and certifications in Agile Foundations, Agile Software Development, and other related fields. Additionally, in 2019, they obtained certifications in Design Thinking, Enterprise Agile, and Implementing IT Strategy, among others.
