As the Global Sustainability Executive Director at Almirall, a leading global pharmaceutical company, I am dedicated to transforming patients' lives by helping them achieve their health aspirations. With over 30 years of expertise in sustainability, occupational health and safety, environmental management, and facility management, I have successfully led and supported global initiatives across various sectors and industries.
In my current role, I am responsible for managing and facilitating the strategic alignment of Almirall's sustainability initiatives with our purpose and corporate values. I also oversee the global health, safety, and environmental strategy, as well as facility management at corporate sites. My passion lies in creating positive impacts for stakeholders and the environment, while empowering my team to grow and develop.
My background in engineering, complemented by several master's and postgraduate degrees in related fields, has equipped me with a solid foundation to drive our sustainability agenda forward. I am continuously eager to learn, improve, and foster a culture of social responsibility and innovation within the organization.
