Pablo Álvarez

Mr. Pablo Álvarez has a PhD in Pharmacy, with a focus on Microbiology from the Complutense University of Madrid (Spain). He carried out a postdoctoral research at MIT (Massachusetts, United States) and he has also studied business and management at IESE Business School in Barcelona (Spain). Pablo joined Almirall in 2019 as Commercial Operations Director and he was appointment as President and GM of Almirall US in 2020. Before joining Almirall, Pablo worked for McKinsey, GSK, BMS and AstraZeneca including key positions in Europe, LatAm, China, and the US during nine years. He is experienced in launching products, implementing new business models, expanding to new geographies and strategy development.
