Principal Associate Scientist at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals

Azadeh Hamzehei Sichani is a Principal Associate Scientist at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals since September 2022. Prior to this role, Azadeh served as an Associate Scientist at Massachusetts Eye and Ear, engaging in brain imaging studies focused on voice and speech production disorders. Additional experience includes positions as a Research Associate at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, and at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where work involved mouse bronchial epithelial cell dissociation, fMRI, and PET data analysis. Earlier roles include Research Assistant at Columbia University, where Azadeh conducted various surgical procedures on mice, and Medical Laboratory Scientist in Dr. Baradaran's laboratory, performing ELISA and protein electrophoresis testing. Azadeh holds a Master's degree in Biology from Brooklyn College and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the University of Isfahan.
