Carol Pitcher-Towner

Carol Pitcher-Towner is currently the Senior Vice President of Global Patient Safety and Risk Management at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals. Prior to their current role, Carol held various senior positions in regulatory affairs at AstraZeneca, Cambridge Antibody Technology, Chiroscience/Celltech R&D, and GlaxoWellcome plc. Carol has a Ph.D in Biological Sciences from the University of Warwick, where Carol also studied Biochemistry. Carol has extensive experience in shaping regulatory environments and leading regulatory functions to optimize clinical development processes.
