Kayla H.

Kayla H. has a diverse work experience spanning from 2013 to 2021. Kayla began their career as a Robotics Engineer for VEX Robotics, Inc. in 2013. From 2014 to 2016, they held various roles at the New York Institute of Technology, such as Research Assistant, IEEE Student Branch Chair, Student Assistant to the Dean, SOAR Peer-Tutor, and IEEE Student Branch Treasurer. In 2017, Kayla worked as a Robotics Instructor at various locations and The Bridges Academy. Kayla then joined Poem Technology, LLC in 2016 as an Engineering Consultant and Electrical Engineering Intern. In 2018, Kayla began working as a Robotics Instructor at Gold Coast Arts Center. From 2019 to 2021, they held various roles at Coast 2 Coast Robotics, BD, and Aloe Care Health, including Managing Director/Robotics Instructor, Embedded Software Engineer/Electrical Engineer, Embedded Software Intern, and Firmware Engineer.

Kayla H. began their educational journey at Townsend Harris High School from 2009 to 2013. Kayla then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from New York Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2017. Kayla continued their studies at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2021.
