Jenn Merritt

Director of Communications at The Aloha Foundation

Jenn spent her first summer at Aloha Camp in 1972 when she was not yet a year old. Her parents, Posie Taylor and Biff Fink, were Aloha counselors and shared the music and magic of the camps with Jenn throughout her childhood. Posie became Hive's Director in 1977, and in the decade that followed, Jenn spent time at Hive and Aloha as a camper and counselor. Jenn joined the Aloha Foundation staff in May 2017. As communications director, she shares Aloha stories and news with the camp community and beyond through the Reveille newsletter, the annual impact report, social media, the Foundation website, and more. Jenn has undergraduate and graduate degrees from Middlebury College and spent two academic years living in Paris. In 2000, after five years as a K-12 French teacher, Jenn began a 14-year career in fundraising at Dartmouth College, where she held roles in event planning, donor relations, and administration. Jenn lives in Lebanon, NH with her partner Michael and her seventeen-year-old daughter Kate, who spent 8 years as a camper and hopes to become a first-year counselor in 2021.
