Sergey Feldman

Sergey Feldman has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of AI, data science, and machine learning. Sergey currently holds the position of Head of AI at Alongside since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Lead Applied Research Scientist at the Allen Institute for AI (AI2) starting from March 2016. Sergey also founded Data Cowboys in 2014, a boutique data science, and machine learning consultancy. Sergey has a strong academic background, having completed a Ph.D. in machine learning from the University of Washington, where they also served as a Machine Learning Graduate Student for 4.5 years. Sergey has published research papers in top conferences and received the Bonderman Fellow award during their graduate studies. Sergey also gained industry experience at Preva Group and RichRelevance, where they contributed to data science and machine learning R&D. Their expertise lies in turning data into knowledge and delivering solutions through sophisticated analytics and user-centered interfaces.

Sergey Feldman's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Illinois Chicago. Sergey attended the University from 2002 to 2006. Subsequently, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Washington, where they studied from 2007 to 2012.
