Allen Spence

Allen Spence's work experience begins in 2002 as a Stockbroker at Scottrade. Allen then moved on to E*TRADE Financial in 2006 as a Financial Services Representative. In 2007, they joined Raymond James & Associates, Inc as an Agency Trader and held that position until 2013 when they were promoted to Agency Trader Team Lead. In 2014, Allen became VP and Agency Trader Team Lead at Raymond James & Associates, Inc, where they handled escalated trade issues and assisted in hiring decisions. In 2021, they briefly worked as a Brokerage Operations Consultant before joining Alpaca as the Manager of Alpaca Trading Services. Allen was then promoted to Director of Operations, Trading and is currently serving as Vice President of Operations, overseeing various departments and committees at Alpaca.
