Abishkar Chhetri

Abishkar Chhetri is a co-founder at Alpen Labs since July 2022, after serving as a software engineer at Microsoft from July 2019 to June 2022, where involvement included Azure Cognitive Services for Language and the Microsoft AI Development Acceleration Program. Prior to Microsoft, Abishkar worked as a researcher at MIT Media Lab, focusing on future human possibilities, and as an AI researcher at Headspace Inc., developing content recommendation systems. Previous experience also includes designing a cross-platform mobile application for visually impaired users and optimizing machine learning models and pipelines at various organizations, including Infinite Analytics and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Abishkar holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and completed the International Baccalaureate at Druid Hills High School.
