Fernando Azanza

Fernando Azanza is an incoming Product Manager Intern at Microsoft, beginning in May 2024, and currently serves as a student intern at StartUP FIU, where leadership in designing and executing over three student entrepreneurship workshops has been demonstrated. As a facilitator in the Student Idea Circle, Azanza employs design thinking and human-centered design methodologies to promote innovation. Additionally, positions held at ALPFA FIU include Vice President and Project Manager of the Tech Group, and participation in Capital One's Tech Mini Mester has led to the development of a CLI-based coding project and collaboration on a credit card product in a competitive immersion program. Azanza also achieved first place in an engineering hackathon during the Discover ServiceNow Engineer Track and has gained foundational knowledge of AI through the AI4ALL College Pathways program. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Florida International University, along with a high school diploma from Unidad Educativa Billingüe Torremar.
