Kim Shi currently serves as the Lead of Analytical Development and Quality Control at Alpha-9 Oncology since November 2025. Prior to this role, Kim was the Principal Scientist and CMC Analytical Development/QC Lead at Affini-T Therapeutics, where responsibilities included leading analytical development for TCR-T programs and overseeing QC activities. Kim's experience also includes serving as Associate Director of Analytical Development and Quality Control at SQZ Biotechnologies, where management of clinical manufacture quality control and assay qualifications occurred. Earlier roles involved scientific positions at BioLegend, focusing on immunoassay development, and at Harvard Medical School, where research on complement C3 in aging and Alzheimer's disease took place. Kim holds a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Peking University and a Ph.D. in Pharmacology from Peking Union Medical College.
