Deepak Mittal

Deepak Mittal serves as the Group COO and Head of Strategy at Alpha Alternatives since May 2025. Prior to this, Deepak Mittal held the position of Head of Credit Businesses at Edelweiss Financial Services Ltd - India from June 2018 to January 2025. Deepak's extensive experience in the financial sector includes a tenure as Managing Director and CEO of Edelweiss Tokio Life Insurance from December 2010 to May 2018, and as CFO and Co-head of Treasury at Edelweiss Capital from December 2001 to December 2010. Deepak Mittal holds an M.B.A. from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and an Engineer's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi.
