George Demetriades

George Demetriades has a diverse work experience in the banking and technology sectors. George has held various leadership positions in different companies, demonstrating their expertise in IT operations, project management, and strategic planning. Some of their key accomplishments include transforming a department into a centralized and digitalized procurement and outsourcing division, increasing spend under management from €20 million to an estimated €250 million per year. George also introduced a technology sector within a bank in just two months and ensured the smooth functioning of IT operations at Athens International Airport. Over the years, George has consistently delivered on corporate KPI targets and successfully managed international subsidiaries.

George Demetriades has a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Information Systems Management from the University of Roehampton, which they obtained from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, from 1987 to 1990, they attended the University of Central Lancashire where they studied Business Information Technology. In 1981 to 1985, they attended the University of Bradford, though the degree and field of study are not specified. Recently, in 2019 to 2020, they obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Innovation & Design Thinking from Emeritus. Additionally, they have certifications in Post Graduate Diploma in Design Thinking & Innovation from Emeritus and Strategy in the Age of Digital Disruption Distinction Certificate from CVTrust.
