Florence spearheads Alpha JWC’s legal work streams both on deal execution and fund management. In the deal execution area, her role starts from the negotiation until the closing of the investment deals. In the fund management aspect, Florence overlooks the legal and compliance affairs of the numerous fund entities.

Being a part of the Value Creation team, Florence assists portfolio companies in wide-ranging legal subject matter. She also provides advice and recommendation to portfolio companies in carrying out their corporate restructuring and handling their legal and compliance issues.

Florence is a senior lawyer with more than ten years of experience in merger and acquisition transactions in various sectors. Before deciding to take an in-depth expertise in the venture capital industry, she has amassed extensive exposure in advising and representing numerous international and domestic strategic investors and private equity in multiple deal transactions.

Florence received her Bachelor of Laws from University of Airlangga, Surabaya, where she graduated second in her class. She earned her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in corporate law from New York University where she received New York University’s Dean’s Graduate Award in addition to a scholarship from the Indonesian Government Endowment Fund.
