Teresa Chelsea Hartanto

Chelsea is an investment professional with experience in financial technology sector.

In her current position in Alpha JWC Ventures, she is responsible for assessing and analysing incoming investment deals. With the investment team, Chelsea also provides guidance and support to the portfolio companies with their future fundraising efforts, strategy, and research initiatives.

Prior to Alpha JWC, Chelsea worked at Indonesian unicorn Tokopedia where she was a part of the fintech team and handled consumer financing and virtual credit cards, working closely with many fintech companies as well as large national banks. In her time there, she was responsible for launching BRI CERIA and the company’s partnership with Home Credit Indonesia.

Chelsea graduated from the University of Southampton with an MEng in Mechanical Engineering with Biomedical Engineering specialization. She wrote her master’s thesis on the creation of an alternative cartilage replacement for those that suffer from Osteoarthritis that will avoid removal of healthy bone.

In her free time, Chelsea enjoys traveling and baking.
