Jessie Chen

Jessie Chen is a multifaceted professional currently serving as the Pledge Instructor and Vice President of External Affairs for Alpha Kappa Psi, where efforts in merchandise design have significantly boosted public perception and social media engagement. As the President of Tidal Wave, Jessie leads event planning for homecoming activities, coordinating eight events for approximately 8,000 students. Jessie has successfully increased social media followers by 715% as Social Media Chair while overseeing promotion for campus events. Previous experience includes a Graphic Design Internship at AvePoint, where digital asset management and photo editing were key responsibilities, and a Student Designer role at Campus Ink, collaborating with organizations across U.S. colleges. Jessie has also fulfilled various positions at Tulane University, including DSC Coordinator and Waveleader, and enhanced marketing strategies as a Marketing Intern at Lafayette Federal Credit Union. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Management with a focus on Marketing at Tulane University, Jessie has built a strong foundation through diverse roles in design, leadership, and research.
