Parker Meyer

Parker Meyer is a small business owner at Meyer’s Lawn Care LLC since January 2017, overseeing operations and management. As an active member of Alpha Kappa Psi - Xi Psi Chapter, Parker holds the positions of Social Chair and Treasurer, while also engaging with Gamma Iota Sigma as an active member and Treasurer. Parker coordinates trivia night events and corporate social responsibility initiatives for the Business Week Team at Illinois State University. An internship with the Katie School of Insurance and Risk Management involved developing a technical understanding of the Bermuda insurance market and networking with industry professionals. Additionally, Parker co-founded Koozies for a Cause, raising over $2,000 to support humanitarian efforts. Previous roles include serving as a food server and sous chef at Carriage Crossing Senior Living and umpiring for McLean County PONY Baseball. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Risk Management and Insurance with a finance concentration from Illinois State University, along with studies at Heartland Community College and Normal Community High School.
