The Opportunity:

As our Head of Amazon and Marketplaces, you'll be at the helm of our online marketplace strategy, driving significant revenue growth, enhancing brand presence, and ensuring operational excellence across Amazon and other key marketplaces. In this pivotal role, you will utilize your expertise in marketplace dynamics, strategic planning, and team leadership to establish our brand as a leader on Amazon and other marketplaces. Your mission is to innovate, optimize, and expand our marketplace operations, ensuring we achieve ambitious sales and profitability targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of our marketplace strategy to maximize sales and profitability. Regularly assess and optimize operational practices for peak efficiency.
  • Oversee the channel's P&L, closely managing budgets and forecasts to align with our financial goals.
  • Implement strategies to enhance contribution margin and overall channel health.
  • Lead the development and implementation of PPC campaigns and advertising strategies on Amazon to improve rankings, sales, and ROAS. Continuously evaluate and refine our approach based on performance data.
  • Manage and enhance product listings and conversion rates through strategic SEO practices, pricing strategies, and A/B testing.
  • Manage inventory levels to meet demand without excess, and lead initiatives to improve customer feedback and satisfaction scores.
  • Stay abreast of Amazon policies and ensure all marketplace activities comply with relevant policies and industry standards, maintaining our brand's reputation.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing marketplace team, setting clear objectives and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the online customer experience through alignment of promotions with broader marketing initiatives and product launches.
  • Regularly analyze sales, customer behavior, and campaign performance data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and successful strategies that can be scaled.
