Lydia Wahlke, CIPP/US

Lydia Wahlke, CIPP/US has extensive experience in legal affairs, compliance, security, and corporate governance. Her career began in 1998 as Manager, Broadcast-Video Production & Post Production at Miramax. In 2005, they became an Associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP. In 2008, they were a Law Clerk to the Honorable Amy J. St. Eve, United States District Judge. Lydia then returned to Kirkland & Ellis LLP as an Associate in 2009. In 2010, they became Assistant General Counsel at the Chicago Cubs. In 2014, they were promoted to Vice President, General Counsel, where they were an executive team leader supporting a seven-year turn-around leading to a World Series Championship. In 2017, they became a Consultant and Chief Legal Officer / Chief Compliance Officer at the U.S. Soccer Federation, where they implemented an industry-leading compliance program. In 2021, they became Of Counsel at Kirkland & Ellis. Most recently, in 2022, they became General Counsel at Alpha Medical.

Lydia Wahlke, CIPP/US, obtained their Doctor of Law (JD) from USC Gould School of Law between 2002 and 2005. Lydia then received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Cinema-Television Production from the University of Southern California between 1994 and 1998. In 2014 and 2015, they obtained a Certificate of Professional Achievement from Kellogg Executive Education. In 2021, they obtained the Certified Information Privacy Professional - United States (CIPP/US) certification from IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals.
