Danny Acord

Danny Acord is a seasoned Senior Mine Engineer with extensive experience in the mining industry, currently serving at Alpha Metallurgical Resources since February 2021. Prior to this role, Danny worked as a Senior Mine Engineer at Contura Energy for three years and gained foundational expertise as a Mine Engineer at Alpha Natural Resources from 2005 to 2018. Danny holds a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering Technology from Bluefield State University, earned between 2005 and 2010.
