David Dillon

David Dillon currently serves as the Manager of Training at Alpha Metallurgical Resources, a position held since January 2021. Prior to this, David worked at Contura Energy as a Senior Safety Representative, where responsibilities included maintaining compliance records, accident prevention training, and overseeing safety training for underground coal miners from July 2016 to January 2021. David also held a role as a Safety Representative at Alpha Natural Resources, focusing on similar safety compliance and training duties from March 2002 to July 2016. Earlier career experience includes participation in mine rescue operations with Maxxim Shared Services and working as an underground miner and equipment operator at El Paso Coal from March 1998 to March 2002. David graduated from Rye Cove High School in Clinchport, Virginia.
