Kevin Stanley has extensive work experience in the coal industry. Kevin started their career at Elk Run Coal as an Accounting Trainee and Staff Accountant. Kevin then moved to Dickenson Russell Coal as a Financial Analyst. Kevin joined Alpha Natural Resources and held various roles, including Operations Analyst, Senior Analyst - Sales & Operations, and Continuous Improvement Manager. Kevin also served as the Manager of Mergers & Acquisitions, where they played a pivotal role in driving a major coal merger. Kevin later worked at Alpha Australia as the Director of Corporate Development before returning to Alpha Natural Resources as the Senior Vice President of Business Planning & Field Accounting. Kevin then joined Contura Energy as the Executive Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer and was responsible for significant revenue and global coal sales. Currently, Kevin is employed at Alpha Metallurgical Resources as the SVP of Sales Operations.
Kevin Stanley attended The University of Virginia's College at Wise from 1997 to 2000. Kevin obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business Administration during this time.
