Jennavieve Kunz

Jennavieve Kunz is an experienced Ethnic Studies teacher currently employed at Alpha Public Schools since March 2023, previously teaching in the San José Unified School District and the East Side Union High School District. With a focus on curriculum development, student engagement, and advocacy for equity and support for marginalized students, Jennavieve has successfully implemented lessons across various educational settings. Prior roles include substitute teaching, mentoring youth in community service, and engaging in professional development programs. Jennavieve holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Portland and has participated in diverse educational endeavors and internships that emphasize social justice, educational equity, and community engagement.
