Rachel Bar David has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Rachel is currently working as an Operational Laboratory Manager at Alpha Tau Medical since August 2021. Prior to this, they served as a GMP Lab Manager & Project Manager in the R&D team at Anchiano Therapeutics Ltd. from April 2014 to December 2019. Rachel also worked as a Post Doctorate Researcher at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in the Biological Chemistry Department from September 2013 to March 2014, and as a Post Doctorate in the Environmental Sciences department from October 2010 to April 2013. Rachel also held the position of Laboratory Manager at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from an unspecified date between 2003 and 2008 to 2010. Before joining The Hebrew University, Rachel worked as a Teaching Assistant of Marine Microbiology at Ruppin Academic Center from an unspecified date between 2005 and 2007. Additionally, they worked as a Master Researcher at The Marmara University in Istanbul, Turkey from September 2000 to September 2002.

Rachel Bar David completed their education in the field of science and education. Rachel began their academic journey in 1996 at Marmara University in Turkey, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Biology Teacher Education. Following this, they pursued further studies at the same university, obtaining a Master's degree in Biochemistry between 2000 and 2002. Rachel then continued their education at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where they achieved a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Microbiology, General from 2003 to 2008.
