Tovalou Joseph NOUKOUNDE has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Tovalou Joseph started their career as an Agent d'appui at the Ministère des Affaires Etrangères, de l´Intégration Africaine & des Béninois de l´Extérieur in 2009 and worked there until 2011. Tovalou Joseph then joined the Institut des Relations Internationales & des Études Stratégiques as an Attaché de Recherches from 2012 to 2014. After that, they worked as a Foreign Languages Instructor at Institut des Formations Professionnelles in 2012.

In 2013, NOUKOUNDE joined the African Industries Group as an Area Marketing Manager. Tovalou Joseph later became a Senior Academic & Orientation Advisor at Concepts Consulting LLC in 2010, before founding their own company, Concepts Training & Consultancy, in 2017.

From 2015, they took on the role of Interim Chief Technology Officer at Alpha Technologies Inc., where they were responsible for e-gov platforms, e-commerce platforms, e-management systems, and digital communication & branding for various sectors.

NOUKOUNDE also served as the Chief Digital Officer at CEDAT & ASCAP at Université d'Abomey-Calavi from 2019 until 2022. Additionally, they worked as an International Relations Instructor & Business English at EPS Cité Vie Nouvelle & CESTIA Universities from 2016 to 2019.
