Pranay Sumbly

Pranay Sumbly is an experienced investment professional currently working at Alpha Wave Global, LP since June 2023. Previously, Pranay served as the Head of Strategy and Chief of Staff to the CEO at Zepto, where contributions included building one of India's fastest-growing consumer tech companies and overseeing strategic initiatives, fundraising, and financial planning. Earlier roles include Senior Associate and Associate at Gaja Capital, Co-Founder and CTO at Omnilake Tech Solutions Pvt. Ltd., and Analyst at Goldman Sachs. Pranay holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, and a Master's in Management from the University of St.Gallen. Additionally, Pranay is pursuing Level 3 of the CFA and Level 2 of the CAIA.
