Heather Alfonso

Before joining AlphaBEST, Heather began her career as the director of one of the largest school-based after school programs in Florida, eventually becoming an elementary school teacher and then assistant principal. One of her favorite childhood memories was starting a cheer club as a junior counselor at a summer camp in 8th grade and building relationships with the girls in the club. She credits this experience with paving the way for her wanting to work with children for the rest of her life.
