Esen Salcin

Esen Salcin is an accomplished professional in the field of optics and optical sciences, currently serving as the Director of Business Development for Imaging Solutions at Alphacore Inc. since August 2017. Prior experience includes roles as a Principal Optical Engineer at KLA-Tencor and an Optical Engineer, along with a substantial research background at the University of Arizona. Notable projects include developing a novel camera for in vivo molecular imaging at the Center for Gamma-Ray Imaging and implementing high-contrast imaging systems for exoplanet detection at the Center for Astronomical Adaptive Optics. Earlier career work as a Research Scientist at TUBITAK involved optical system design and simulation modeling. Esen Salcin holds a PhD and an M.S. in Optics/Optical Sciences from the University of Arizona and an M.S. in Physics from Middle East Technical University.
