Lara Morley

Lara Morley has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in compliance and management. Lara most recently served as the Group Head of Compliance at Alpha FX Group PLC, starting in August 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Deputy MLRO at the same company from November 2021.

Before joining Alpha FX Group PLC, Lara worked at Airwallex as an MLRO from January 2021 to November 2021. Lara also held the role of UK Compliance Manager at Airwallex from January 2020 to August 2021.

Earlier in their career, Lara worked at Argentex LLP, where they served as Compliance Manager and Deputy MLRO from December 2015 to January 2020. Before that, they held positions of Compliance Officer from October 2014 to December 2015 and Compliance Assistant and Office Manager from October 2013 to October 2014.

Lara's early work experience includes roles at Pacific Investments as a Property Manager and Administrative Assistant from September 2012 to October 2013, and at Mission Media as an Intern in August 2012.

Lara Morley attended Cranleigh School from 2003 to 2008, where they completed their high school education. Lara then went on to study at Durham University from 2009 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Geography. In addition to their formal education, Lara also obtained certifications such as "Introduction to Securities & Investments" from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI) in July 2019. Lara also achieved a "Merit" in the International Advanced Certificate in Anti-Money Laundering and a "Distinction" in the International Diploma in Anti-Money Laundering from the International Compliance Association, although the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
