Vidya Sookraj, CAMS, CGSS, currently serves as the Onboarding Manager for Canada at Alpha Group since September 2021, having previously held the position of Senior Compliance Analyst. Prior to joining Alpha Group, Vidya worked at Scotiabank from September 2019 to September 2021 as a Senior QA Specialist in QA Regulatory Reporting within the AML Risk division. Experience also includes a role as a Compliance Analyst and Team Lead at XE.com Inc. from September 2016 to September 2019, and an extensive tenure at Mercantile Exchange Corporation from October 2010 to September 2016, where roles included Operations and Senior Compliance Manager. Earlier career positions were held at TD as an Operations Servicing Officer from February 2009 to October 2010 and at Citi from June 2004 to April 2008 as FC Operations Manager and Service Officer. Vidya obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Florida International University between 1997 and 1999.
