Claudia Mejía

Claudia Mejía has been working in the field of technology since 1997. Claudia started as a Swimming Coach at Swim America in 1997. In 2006, they became a Systems Analyst at Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala, where they analyzed two legacy applications and executed the entire Software Development Life Cycle to migrate them to new technologies. In 2008, they became a Software Developer at ACS, where they built APIs Definitions for REST and SOA web services, and developed windows and web applications using ASPX (Visual Studio 2003, 2005), SqlServer 2005, Visual Basic.Net and C#. In 2010, they became an IT Consultant at Infoware Plus, where they developed and launched products based on Microsoft SharePoint Platform and webparts using C#, MVP Design Pattern, HTML and CSS, as well as trained and coached employees from 5 different companies on how to take advantage of Microsoft SharePoint functionalities and apply them to their work. In 2014, they became a Business Requirements Manager at Ministerio de Finanzas Públicas, where they conducted the voice of customer interview to identify and collect pain points and end users’ needs to plan for their solution, wrote Functionality and Performance requirements for 9+ Government applications to launch processes 100% online reducing time response and increasing 5% digital transformation rate in the organization, and developed Wireframes to sketch proposals and validate them with stakeholders using Balsamiq Wireframe. Currently, Claudia is working as a Product Owner at both AlphaPoint and Cognits.

Claudia Mejía obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala in 2009.
