Omar Kassem

Omar Kassem is currently employed at Alphasense as a Senior Scientist, leading the "Products Support" team in the technical department. Omar handles lab-related activities, R&D projects, and the design and testing of electrochemical sensors. Prior to this role, Omar worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at The University of Manchester, focusing on graphene production and inkjet printing for wearable biosensing applications. Before that, Omar served as a Research Engineer at the Microelectronic Center of Province, specializing in graphene nanocomposites on plastic substrates. Omar's academic background includes a PhD in Materials Science from École des Mines de Saint-Étienne.
