Yuri Bushnev

Yuri Bushnev serves as the VP of Engineering at AlphaSense since April 2016, overseeing long-term strategies and execution across various engineering tribes. With a background that includes establishing new engineering domains and driving engineering maturity, Yuri also previously held roles as Executive Director of Engineering and Director of Technology Engineering at AlphaSense. Prior to this, Yuri co-founded a startup as CTO, contributing to product roadmap development and successfully raising pre-seed VC investment. Additional experience includes positions at DataArt, Altisource Technology, Inria, Intel Corporation, and EPAM Systems, focusing on high-load backend solutions, quality automation frameworks, and system quality control. Educational qualifications include a Specialist degree in Computer Science from Saint Petersburg State University and an Engineer's degree in Computer Programming.
