Mostafa Othman has had a diverse range of work experience in the aviation industry. Mostafa began their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Yanbu Cement Company in 1994, followed by a position as a Mechanical Engineer at the Ministry of Islamic Affairs in 1995. Mostafa then joined SAUDIA AIRLINES in 1993 as a Specialist Aircraft Engineer, where they worked on aircraft structure reliability and modification projects.
In 2004, Mostafa started working at BBJ as an Aircraft Digital Computer, before joining National Air Services (NAS) as the Director of Special Projects in 2010. At NAS, they were responsible for establishing MRO services and overseeing aircraft acceptance and delivery, airworthiness management, and system selections. Mostafa also served as the Engineering Director of the Aircraft Engineering and Researches Strategic Business Unit at NAS, managing various engineering activities and contracts.
Mostafa later joined Alsalam Aircraft Company in 2010 as the Manager of Aircraft Support Engineering. Mostafa then moved to Alpha Star Aviation Services in 2013, where they held the position of Engineering Director. Mostafa led the Engineering and Planning department to support the company's operations and growth, specifically focusing on new aircraft delivery and outfitting for VVVIP operations.
In 2016, Mostafa joined the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) in Saudi Arabia as an Airworthiness Engineer. Mostafa was responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft and played a key role in overseeing maintenance and inspections.
Mostafa's most recent position was at flynas, where they served as the Senior Manager Technical Fleet and Aircraft Deliveries from 2018 to 2019. Mostafa was responsible for managing technical aspects of the fleet and coordinating aircraft deliveries.
Mostafa currently holds the position of Engineering Director at Alpha Star Aviation Services, a role they have held since 2019. In this capacity, they oversee engineering operations and supports the company's expansion efforts.
Mostafa Othman received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Umm Al-Qura University from 1989 to 1994. Mostafa also obtained another BS degree in Engineering from the same university from 1989 to 1992. In 2015, they earned the title of Professional Engineer from the Gulf Engineering Council with a focus on Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, they became a Consultant Engineer in the field of Mechanical Engineering through the Saudi Council of Engineers in the same year. Mostafa Othman further enhanced their qualifications by obtaining certifications such as GACA DER from the General Authority of Civil Aviation in Saudi Arabia in September 2015 and ISO - AS9100:2009 Lead Auditor from Qual-Tech, Inc. in August 2014.
