Michael O'Farrell

Michael O'Farrell is a highly experienced engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering and applications design, currently serving as a Senior Engineer at Alphawave IP Group since May 2021. Previously, Michael held the position of Application and Testing Manager at Huawei Technologies and was a Senior Member of Technical Staff II in Applications Engineering at Rambus. Michael's experience spans various engineering roles, including Physical Design Engineer and Applications Engineer at Semtech Snowbush IP, with significant work in CMOS layout for SERDES applications using advanced technology nodes. Michael's academic credentials include a Master of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, both from Queen's University, where substantial experience as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant was gained.
