Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, where responsibilities include developing hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices as part of a cross-functional team. Previously, Chris served as a firmware engineer at SMART Technologies, focusing on firmware development and diagnostic tools for similar products. Additional experience includes working as an electronics contractor for Science Alberta Foundation, designing and repairing educational devices, and as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary. Earlier in Chris's career, engagement as an electronics engineer at Grindcom involved developing control systems for forestry equipment. Chris holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
